End of the Road
The railroad that is. For me that is. Making what should be my last working trip of the year tomorrow, Winnipeg and back with no layover. Bring it on. Can't wait for a good stretch of time off. Of course, I'm still running all over the place in November, with readings in Victoria and Prince George, as well as closer to home in Vancouver and North Vancouver. But I should be able to buckle down and turn my attention to a few projects I've been meaning to finish for a while, including editing a manuscript of Shane Neilson's poetry; editing a selection of Kenneth Leslie's poetry; and fine-tuning my own collection of poems. I've got some other things on the go, but that's plenty for now.
